"Surprisingly solid little notebooks"
I picked up a few Field Notes books not really expecting much, honestly. I’ve had enough pocket notebooks fall apart on me that I don’t fully trust the binding on these things anymore. But so far, these have held up better than I thought. The staples are clean, the pages haven’t come loose, and there’s no weird bending even after keeping one in my back pocket most days. It’s a small detail, but it makes me feel a lot better about actually using them every day. Happy with the quality

"Decent notebook, cover wore out fast"
I like the size and the paper is totally fine, it’s easy to carry around and the pages have stayed together so that’s good, but the cover got beat up after just a week in my bag which was kind of disappointing because I was hoping it would hold up better for everyday use. Not terrible, just not as durable as I expected.

"Ink bleeds through too much"
I was disappointed with this. The ink bleeds through almost every page, so I’m guessing the paper just isn’t thick enough for regular pens. It makes it hard to use both sides and kind of ruins the experience for me.

"Felt like I was paying more for the story than the notebook"
I’ll admit, I got pulled in by the whole old-school American notebook story on the site. It made them seem really authentic, like there was something special behind them compared to regular little notebooks. But once they actually arrived, they felt ordinary to me. The paper is fine, the covers are fine, and there’s nothing really wrong with them. They just didn’t live up to the vibe the brand is selling online. For the price, I expected to be a lot more impressed. I can see why some people might enjoy the branding, but personally, I don’t think the value is really there.

The layouts feel kind of limited to me. I was trying to find the ruling style I normally use, but I couldn’t spot it anywhere?? Maybe I missed it, but it made the whole thing a bit frustrating

"Got here quicker than expected"
It actually showed up sooner than I was expecting, and the tracking seemed to update fine from what I saw. Only knocking off a star because the box was a little bent when it got here. Not sure if that happened during shipping or before, but everything else was okay

"Pretty smooth, but I wish shipping showed sooner"
I ordered a few notebooks from fieldnotesbrand.com and the site was easy enough to use. The product photos and details were clear, and checkout didn’t take long. I’m always a little careful about online orders, so I liked that the confirmation came through right away. My only gripe is that I wish the shipping cost showed up earlier, before getting too far into checkout. Overall though, it was a good experience

"Good notebooks, but I was a little hesitant"
The notebooks are actually really nice, and I’m happy with the quality overall. I’ll admit I was a bit worried at first because they seemed kind of pricey, and I didn’t want to feel like I was getting fooled into paying more than they were worth. But after using them, they do feel well-made. Still, I wish the price was a little lower

"Solid little notebooks, though not cheap"
I picked up a few Field Notes notebooks for work notes and random to-do lists, and they’ve been handy. I’m not going to act like they’re life-changing or anything, but the paper feels nice with my pen and they don’t feel overly fancy or precious, which I like. The covers do get bent up in my bag, so I try not to toss them in with anything too rough, but that’s kind of what I expected with pocket notebooks. Overall, I’m happy with them, though I do think they’re a little pricey for what they are.

"Not at all what I expected"
I was really disappointed with this. It was supposed to work well with pens, but the ink bled right through the paper and made it basically unusable for me. Definitely not matching what was promised.

"Looks nice, but not totally convinced"
They do look good, I’ll give them that. I haven’t compared them to a ton of similar ones, so maybe I’m missing something, but for the price I was expecting the paper to feel a bit nicer and for there to be more pages. Personally, I don’t really feel like they were worth it

"Tiny and Super Handy!!!"
I love how small this is!!! It fits right in my jeans pocket without feeling bulky or annoying at all!!! Super easy to carry around!!!

"I’ve been using these Field Notes notebooks..."
I’ve been using these Field Notes notebooks for a bit and I really like them. The paper has a nice sturdy feel to it, not too slick and not super thin, which I notice because I’m picky about how a pen drags across the page. I also appreciate that they’re made in the USA, it’s a small thing, but I like seeing it printed on there. The only downside is the cover got slightly bent in my bag, mostly on one corner, but it still held up fine. Overall they feel well made and I’d definitely buy them again

"Not Really Gift-Ready"
I was a bit surprised by how plain the packaging was. For something I planned to give as a gift, it didn’t really feel like much effort was put into the presentation. I ended up having to repackage it myself, which was kind of disappointing.

"Fun little collectibles"
I like picking up the limited editions. They look great on my shelf. I actually use them too. Some sell out way too fast, which is annoying. But overall, they’re cool notebooks to collect.

"Nice colors, but a little flat"
I liked the colors right away, and they pretty much looked like what I was expecting. I guess I just assumed the artwork would have a bit more depth or texture to it, but in person it came off kind of flat to me. Still nice overall, just not quite as eye-catching as I thought it would be.

"Not really into the design"
I’ve used plenty of minimalist sites before, so I get that simple can work really well. But this one just felt a little too plain for me. The colors and layout came across kind of dull and outdated, and nothing about the product design really made me want to buy. It’s just not my style.

"Subscription issue, really disappointed"
I had a problem with my subscription and, honestly... it was frustrating. I expected things to be straightforward, but it ended up being a hassle. So yeah, I’m really disappointed with the experience.
